Christopher Gruber, 43 years old from Luxemburg, passed away unexpectedly due to a sudden illness on March 25th, 2026, surrounded by his family. Chris was born May 31st, 1982, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Chris is the son of Rose (Gruber) Blozinski.
Chris is survived by his mother, Rose, and his stepfather, Rick Blozinski: wife, Mollie Massart; children, Jakob Hannon, Brayden Barrett, Ellanore Gruber; Aunt Lynn (Peter) Allard and cousins Craig (Genia) Allard, Jen Allard, Mark (Sharon) Allard, mother-in-law, Teresa Massart and his dog Rooster. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Imelda (Bertler) Gruber; father-in-law, Dale Massart.
Chris grew up with a passion for music and bass. This led to Chris starting his own sound company, Arthur Audio, in honor of his grandfather, doing small scale events. Chris gained recognition for his sound expertise not only in Green Bay but all over Wisconsin and beyond. Chris was the sound behind events such as GBass and City Deck while providing sound for Wisconsin based dance music crews, rock bands, jazz bands, conferences and conventions. One of Chris's biggest joys was sharing smiles with others through music.
In 2013 Chris met Mollie and his life began to shift. Chris always wanted a family, and his family became what mattered the most to him in life. Chris and Mollie grew together through the years and so did their family. The family enjoyed activities together such as camping, bicycling, and music festivals. Chris also loved taking care of his yard, grilling and power tools. Chris had a passion for tinkering with electronics, making car modifications and building rc cars. Chris enjoyed doing any activity with his children that they wanted to do. He was a supportive, loving and kind father and husband. Chris continued his passion for music with support from his family but also found a new passion using his mechanical and electrical ingenuity by entering the field of heating and cooling. Chris enjoyed helping others and his career allowed him to shine with his traits of kindness, love and compassion being on full display,
Chris was employed at Twin Pillars to which the family would like to extend a special thank you to them for their support during these difficult times. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Aurora 2nd floor ICU staff, specifically Dr. Mark Riedy and nurse Beth for their care.
Visitation for Chris will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd. on Saturday, April 11th, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. The family extends an invite to attend to anyone who would like to celebrate Chris and his life.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Chris’ name has been set up for his daughter Ellanore.
“Goodbyes are not forever, they are not the end; it simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again, you may leave this earth, but you will never leave our hearts.” (unknown)
