Christine Black

December 22, 1948 — June 11, 2026

Christine Carol Black, 77, of Green Bay Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 11th, 2026 After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Christine was shortly preceded into death by her loving husband Francis (Frank) Black. Christine was the daughter to the late Robert and Marguerite Ciesielski. Born on December 22, 1948 Christine was the only child born, one out of five other full term babies to her parents. As an only child she was very special, and a blessing to her parents.

Christine attended school up to the 12th grade in Milwaukee. She then lived in West Allis, then Waukesha where her and her husband built their first house. Her and her husband at that time decided to to dairy farm, by buying and moving to the first dairy farm in Forestville, Door County. Then, moving on to their second dairy farm in Maribel, WI After dairy farming, the family moved to Rosecrans, WI where they built last home. Christine then, bought herself a home on Grand Avenue, in Denmark, Wisconsin. She then, met Frank Black, while working at a pharmacy in Green Bay. They were then married on February 19th, 2003 until departed by death.

Christine is survived by her children; Victoria (Robert) Puddy, Jacqueline Wegner, Gwendolyn Wegner, Kyle Wegner, and Katrina Szymanski Arnold (whom she had the opportunity to reconnect with later in life)

A Grandma to; Cody Wegner, Lydia Puddy, Ben Kirschnik, Cali Black, Zebariah (Lyndsey) Puddy, Jack (Ashley) Kirschnik, Faith Kirschnik, Elizabeth Raymakers, Cordell Black; And, a Great Grandmother to; Winifred Kirschnik, Aaliyah Kirschnik, Reyna Puddy, Norah Kirschnik, William Kirschnik, Stella Kirschnik, and coming soon 9/26 Wesley Jax Puddy.

Christine was a very loving, caring individual. She loved to be around people and socialize. She was a faithful and devoted Christian. Attending Bridge Point Church in Green Bay. She was an extremely smart and talented lady. Later in life was a student at UWGB, then graduating with a bachelor's degree and Honors. She did so many things in her lifetime. A housewife, farmer, seamstress, a realtor, a home designer with blueprinting, a pharmacist tech., a minister preaching to the inmates at Green Bay Correctional institute, a banking loan officer, a school bus driving trainer and driver herself. (Even trained her own daughter for driving School bus).

We would like to thank all the staff that has taken care of our mom for the last three years at The Court at Eden Vista. And the Hospice team that cared for mom in her last final days. Everyone has been so caring and understanding foe Christine.

A service tentatively will be held on July 11th, at Bridge Point Church on 2421 W Point Rd. Green Bay, Wisconsin from 3pm-4pm Then, dinner afterwards TBD.
