Christian Anthony Savoie

January 19, 1993 — September 17, 2025

Christian Anthony Savoie, age 32, of Green Bay, passed away surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of melanoma, on the evening of September 17, 2025.

Born on January 19, 1993, in Billings, Montana, to parents Loren Savoie and Bobette Lindstrand, Christian lived a life full of service, love, and adventure. After graduating from Billings Central Catholic High School in 2012, he joined the Army National Guard, where he proudly served as a Motor Transport Operator for eight years, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Alongside his service, Christian volunteered at Blue Creek Fire and went on to work as a Wildland Firefighter with the Columbus Fire Department in Montana prior to relocating to Wisconsin.

A lifelong learner, Christian earned a degree in Fire Science, studied Business, and was close to completing his pilot’s license, a dream he held since childhood, before his diagnosis in June 2024.

Christian and Meghan first met years before love found them. In 2016 their story truly began. They later made Green Bay their home, and on March 7, 2020, welcomed their son, Ryker, who became the light of Christian’s life. From that moment on, “Father” became his proudest title. He cherished reading and creating stories, building Lego masterpieces, indulging in science projects, fishing, “going on bear hunts,” and simply living in the moment with his pride and joy. Christian and Meghan married on August 10, 2021, and shared a cherished week together in Door County, making lasting memories as a family of three.

In Green Bay, Christian worked in sales within the transportation industry, first at Schneider and later at Paper Transport LLC. He took pride in his work and the ability to provide for his family. When faced with his cancer diagnosis, he ‘clocked out’ to focus on his health, giving his fight every ounce of strength. A proud member of CrossFit 920, Christian trained nearly every day and, in May 2025, completed “The Murph” while undergoing aggressive treatment. He wanted to give back by helping provide meals for families affected by cancer in Brown County, volunteering in local events assisting those in his community, and was working toward a podcast to connect others navigating cancer. Eventually, he shared his journey through his blog, inspiring many with his honesty and resilience.

Christian loved all things sports, fishing and kayaking, binging Harry Potter and anything Minions, cooking with his son, singing loudly (and always in tune, of course), and walking his pup, Ollie. He was known for his goofy humor, selflessness, infectious laughter, and unwavering support for others. In his own words, he was a “survivor,” being proud of having “lived a full life” while being sure to always “love big.”

Christian was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

Christian will forever be cherished by his wife Meghan Savoie (Keach), and adored son Ryker Savoie; father Loren Savoie; mother Bobette Lindstrand; sister Cassidy (Derek) Kleinsasser; niece Ella Kleinsasser; brother Dax Williams; aunts Paula Luptak and Sue (Dean) Onstad; grandpa Bill Lindstrand (Ruth Roagland); and many cousins; Parents-In-Law Rebecca and Jonathon Paulsen, and Chris and Sierra Keach; Brothers-in-law Jack and Brett Paulsen; Sisters-in-law Maryssa Paulsen and Kylie and Khloe Keach; several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins by marriage.

Christian was preceded in death by his beloved aunt Karen Kolacny; uncle Ralph Savoie; grandparents Ray and Norma Savoie, Bill and Ellen Webster, and several family members by marriage.

Two of Christian’s favorite things were flying and football. Every Packers home game the family would go to Sunset Park, in Allouez, to observe the flyover of Lambeau Field. We encourage any and all family and friends to join us for a Celebration of Life and the flyover of Lambeau Field on Sunday, October 12 at 2:30pm.
