Cheryl Bowers

Cheryl Bowers, age 63, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away with loved ones by her side following a long battle with cancer on May 23, 2026.

She was born on November 30, 1962, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Nancy (Price) Pomeroy and Clifford Pomeroy.

Throughout her life, Cheryl was known for her big heart and the deep care she showed to those around her. She will be lovingly remembered for her compassion, her love of animals, and her passion for cooking and baking—talents that brought comfort, joy, and connection to family and friends alike.

Cheryl is survived by her children: Jessica Bowers, Christopher Bowers, and Veronica Thomson; and her beloved grandchildren: Jessica’s children—Tallion, Dominic, Nathon (who preceded her in death in September 2023), Lucas, and Waylon; Christopher’s son, Zeke; and Veronica’s daughter, Alaynna. She is also survived by her siblings, Debra, Rick, Brenda, Brian, and Sandy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and Clifford; her sister, Darla; her grandson, Nathon; and dear friends Opal and Kathy.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital and Unity Hospice for their compassionate care and support during her final days, as well as for honoring her wish to have her cat by her side.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on June 27th at noon at the home of her sister, Sandy, located at N9693 Brandy Creek Rd, Clintonville, Wisconsin 54929.
