Charles Thomas Kauzlaric, lovingly known as “Chuck,” passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 27, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Eagle River, Wisconsin, Chuck was the third of eleven children of John and Katheryne Kauzlaric. He grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which carried through his entire life. Snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing were among his greatest joys, and he shared those passions with family and friends across the years. Chuck worked for Georgia Pacific and also built houses part-time, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and craftsmanship. Upon retirement, he poured his heart into building his own cabin from recycled barn wood—a place that reflected his resourcefulness and love of nature.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Thomlinson.
Chuck is survived by his children: Thomas Kauzlaric, Carla Kauzlaric (Amy Crum), and Susan Gervais (Tom). He also leaves behind four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory with love and pride.
In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. His family asks for thoughts and prayers during this time, especially for his children, as they honor his remarkable life and legacy.
