Charlene Boyce, 83, of Green Bay was surrounded by her ohana as she peacefully passed away on 3/14/2024 at 5:55pm.
Charlene was born September 17, 1940 alongside her twin sister Marlene and raised on the island of Kauai, HI to the late Stanley and Gloria Nani (Wong) Kaluahine. Charlene embarked on a beautiful journey of love and commitment where she married Ronald Boyce Sr. on August 3, 1973. Before passing, the two were able to celebrate 50 years of marriage this past August.

One of Char's many passions was bowling. From starting in Hawaii, to being inducted into the Green Bay hall of fame May 12, 2016. She not only excelled as a bowler but also shared her expertise as a coach. Her passion for the sport was truly remarkable whether she was competing on the lanes or mentoring others, she left a lasting impact on the community. Her dedication, skill and love for the game will always be remembered. In addition to bowling, Char loved to golf and play tennis along with watching her favorites on T.V, aka Tiger Woods. Char was such a hard worker. She retired at the age of 81 after working 20 plus years at the Radisson Hotel. In her later years, Char loved to spend time with family especially her Keilanalei, test her luck at the slots and watch her game shows with her hubby.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband Ron, her twin sister Marlene and brother Gilbert; her brother in law John (Judie) Boyce; her five children Paul (Beatriz) Meranian III, Sandra (Randy) Cornelio, William (Tammy) Meranian, Ronald (Keisha) Boyce Jr, Ronda (Jon) Boyce-Kaiwi ; her hanai son Timothy (Kayla) Kali; her eleven grandkids Alan (Juri), Nichole, Paul (Charity) IV, Sheldon, Shanlee, Leiana, Kiani (Logan), Shanelle, Chase, Zayden, and Deja; her nine great grandchildren; her best friend Alice (family dog/favorite grandchild) ; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her mother in law Florence and father in law August Boyce; her brothers Stanley Jr, Mike, Joseph, and Matthew Kaluahine; her sisters Juliette (Pache) Brede and Rose (Loke) Kaluahine; her brother in laws Thomas, Richard, Robert and Jeffrey Boyce ; and her cat Pretty Girl.

The family would like to thank the Aurora Baycare ICU staff ; Doctor Bista and his staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, while she fought hard the last two years. Although the cancer didn't take her, we appreciate all the efforts from every department included in her health journey.

Char's Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 7th at The Rock Garden on 1951 Bond St in Green Bay starting at 12pm. Please use the Grand Ballroom South entrance.
