Carla Corso

Carla Doris Corso, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior.

Born on January 7, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, Carla lived a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. A devoted member of Saint Ignatius Catholic Church, she was known for her kindness, warm smile, and generous heart. Carla also dedicated many years of service to the Kentucky School Board, where she was respected for her commitment and caring nature.

Carla enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and making memories with her cousins, Norman, Frankie and Lisa. Above all, she cherished time spent with her beloved husband, Frank, whether enjoying a movie, sharing a meal, or simply being together.

Carla is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Frank Corso; her son, Terry (Shelly); her daughter, Kimberly (Scott); her grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony (Denis), and Cameron (Taylor); her great-grandchildren, Finn Wood, Paul Wood, Cade Bentley, and Liv Wood; her sister, Mary Ann “Annie” Cole; and many beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Marie Terry; her father, Carl Terry; her sister, Lana Sue Hudson; and her brother, Carl “Shorty” Terry.

Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace with the Lord. Her love, faith, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, at a later date. Details will be announced once arrangements have been finalized.
