Brian Kieth Jacobi, age 65 of Howards Grove WI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a several year medical battle.
Brian was born May 8th, 1961, in Berwyn IL, to Wayne & Marlene Jacobi. Baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Wheaton IL. Brian began his professional career with Northrop Grumman Corporation in Illinois before relocating to Wisconsin, where he was the owner of Brian Jacobi Allstate Insurance Agency. He later expanded his work in the insurance industry by founding Your Total Solutions Independent Insurance Agency. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Brian was a Past Master and member of Barrington Masonic Lodge No. 522 A.F & A.M, where he valued fellowship, service, and tradition.
In 2003, Brian met the love of his life, Roselle Annis-Holschbach. Their relationship blossomed into a loving marriage, and together they united the Annis/ Holschbach- Jacobi families, creating a strong and cherished blended family that became the center of their lives.
Brian found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He had a lifelong passion for cars and firearms and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his grandchildren at their sporting events, whether from the stands or virtually.
A past athlete himself Brian played hockey until the age of 40 and remained an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Chicago Bears.
Brian was a wealth of knowledge and a true jack-of-all-trades, always willing to lend a hand or share his expertise. Over the years, he came to accept that Pinterest projects and flowers were an important part of life, and he especially enjoyed the annual Mother’s Day flower-shopping tradition with his wife and mother-in-law, Annabelle. He also cherished simple pleasures such as long car rides, family dinners, and time spent with loved ones.
Throughout his courageous battle with illness, Brian found strength, purpose, and joy in sharing his journey with family and friends through social media. His honesty, resilience, and positive outlook inspired many and touched countless lives. He will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering optimism. Brian's jokes, laughter, and ability to brighten any room will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Brian was a member of Word of Grace Church in Sheboygan Falls. Through his love for Jesus Christ and his unwavering faith, he found peace and strength even on his hardest days. His faith remained a guiding light throughout his life and illness, bringing him comfort and hope. This is not goodbye, but rather, “I’ll meet you on the other side.”
Although Brian never served in the military himself, those who knew him often thought he had. He had a deep love for his country and immense respect for the men and women who serve. One of his greatest sources of pride was his two Airmen and their commitment to military service. He proudly supported one serving as a Warrant Officer stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, and another serving as an E-6 Technical Sergeant stationed at Aviano Air Base in Italy.
Brian is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Nathaniel) Lisner of Montgomery, Illinois, and Janet (James) Fargo of Dallas, Georgia. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to five grandchildren: Brianna Peppers, Jacob Lisner, Justin Kay (Kennedi), Sara Fargo, and Madison Fargo. His family continued to grow with the addition of three great-grandchildren, Clark Kay, Kara Kay, and Avery Lisner.
Brian is also survived by Melissa (David) Benton of Howards Grove, Wisconsin, and Tyler (Tannie) Holschbach of Oostburg, Wisconsin. Through their families, he was blessed with five beloved grandchildren: Kaden Benton (Summerville), Destiny Benton, Soraya Benton, Landon Holschbach, and Koen Holschbach. Brian treasured the time he spent with each of them and took great joy in watching them grow and celebrate their accomplishments.
Brian is further survived by his sister, Laura (Dave) Brown; and nephew, Westen Brown; mother-in-law, Annabelle Annis; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Anne) Annis, Rahn Annis, and David Bardon. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his friendship, kindness, and sense of humor.
Brian was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brother, Craig; his father-in-law, Albert Annis; his sister-in-law, Janelle Bardon; and several special friends and relatives who held a meaningful place in his life.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to family and friends for constant encouragement, love, prayers, and support shown throughout Brian’s journey. A special thank you to everyone who attended Brian’s 65TH Birthday Benefit Celebration, as well as to the committee members whose hard work and generosity made the event possible.
We are grateful to those who visited Brian at the hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, called, or sent messages, your presence, compassion, and thoughtfulness brought Brian great comfort and helped make his final days, weeks, and month especially meaningful. In Brians words “I am humbled no words can describe how I’m feeling other than Blessed.”
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the dedicated staff of Aurora Medical Center in Grafton and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls for the exceptional care, compassion, and support provided to Brian and his family. Your kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment brought comfort during a difficult time and will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been established at Cleveland State Bank. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian’s honor, with donations benefiting the Howards Grove First Responders, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. These organizations provided meaningful service, support, and fellowship throughout Brian’s life, and memorial gifts made in his memory will help continue their important work and impact within the community.
A private Celebration of Life, including a Masonic burial service, will be held for family members at a later date.
Well done faithful servant.
