Betty Kitzman

Betty Jane Kitzman (Tassoul) of Lena, WI, passed peacefully on March 13th, 2026, at the age of 96. 

Betty loved to cook and share with all her friends in the Lena and Oconto Falls area. She had a special need to give to everyone she knew. She also loved gardening and canning in the summer. She spent many days “coffee clutching” with Diane, her niece and friend, sharing many stories over the years. Betty was what many would call a firecracker, loved by many who knew her. 

She was born October 15th, 1929, to the late Louis and Ethel Tassoul of Green Bay, WI. She was married to Gordon Kitzman for 51 years, had five children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

Betty is survived by three children: James (Dale) Kitzman of Oak Creek, WI; Diana and the late Tom Hubbard of Oconto Falls, WI; and Cheryl (Jerry) Lenski of Oak Creek, WI. Further survived by one brother, John Tassoul of Green Bay, WI. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, and two children, Harvey Kitzman and Christine Kitzman. 

She will be forever in our hearts.
