Betty Berry

November 30, 1932 — December 7, 2025

Betty Mae Berry, 93, entered her new heavenly home on December 7, 2025, held in the promises of her Savior.

Born in New London, Wisconsin, on November 30, 1932, to Francis and Gladys (Riska) Le Beau, Betty grew into a woman of strong Christian faith. As a young adult, she shared that faith with her mother, beginning a legacy of trust in God that shaped her own life and the lives of those she loved. She later made her home in Neenah, Wisconsin, where she and her husband, Harold, raised their daughter and spent time traveling and camping. In her later years, she resided in Green Bay, where she lived for the past seven years.

Betty worked for more than 30 years at Kimberly-Clark, holding several roles throughout her career. Her longest position was as a phototypesetter, a role she carried out with her characteristic attention to detail. Known for her perfectionism in formatting and her habit of carefully proofreading for errors, Betty took great pride in doing her work accurately and well.

Throughout her life, Betty was a devoted member of various Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) congregations. Her faith was central to her daily life, and she found joy and peace in worship, Bible reading, and prayer. In her later years, she was a faithful member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

Betty met Harold through ballroom dancing, a pastime that brought her great happiness. She was an avid reader, a wonderful baker, and liked to do sewing and knitting projects for her daughter and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses. Above all, she will be remembered for her incredibly kind and gentle nature, which touched everyone blessed to know her.

One of Betty’s greatest joys was the time she spent with her daughter, Barb, her son-in-law, Dan, and her treasured grandchildren, Arianna and Aidan Anderson, along with her beloved fur granddog, Maverick.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Berry; her daughter Barbara (Dan) Anderson; grandchildren Arianna and Aidan Anderson; her brother Francis Le Beau; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Vivian Zabel; niece Shari Le Beau; and nephew Vance Le Beau.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Leon Ehlert, Pastor John Jordan, Dr. Mike Pfeifer, and Staff Minister Ryan Kohl from Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church for their spiritual care, prayers, and support.
