Benjamin Otis

Benjamin Ralph Otis passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior and eternal life on December 6, 2025. He was born November 2, 1941 in Sturgeon Bay to Ralph and Merna (Anderson) Otis. He was a 1959 graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School and a 1965 graduate of NWTC (Sturgeon Bay Vocational School). He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1963 attaining the rank of E-4 Corporal and an honorable discharge.

Ben married Gloria Jean Weiner on June 10, 1972, and together they shared 47 years of marriage until her passing in 2019. Ben was a certified government welder and small farmer most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria; parents, Ralph and Merna; brother, Harland Otis; two infant sisters and step father A. G. Mookey, and A.G.'s family.

Per Ben's wishes there will be no formal funeral service. A memorial service will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2160 Packerland Dr. Monday December 22, from 9 AM until 11 AM with a service at 11 AM. Burial at Bay Side Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Beautiful Savior Church.
