Audrey Van Beek

Audrey Van Beek, 91, of the Town of Humboldt, Wisconsin died on Thursday morning, April 7th, 2022.
Audrey was born in Milwaukee on March 8th, 1931, to Emma Jean (nee Petarski) and Frank Granros. Audrey married Patrick B. Van Beek in May of 1954 at St. Mary’s church in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Audrey was a primary school teacher for 38 years and was affectionally called “Mrs. Van Beeker” by her pupils. Her favorite hobby was training Doberman Pinschers, earning several OTCH and national awards.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Lisa (nee Van Beek) Maraka and her grandson Patrick (Abbey) Maraka, and two great grandchildren, Patrick and Vincent. She is preceded in death by her husband Patrick.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Oak Park Place Assisted Living for their kindness and caring. She enjoyed attending their daily exercise noodle classes and visits from her favorite grandpup, Pete.
The family will be celebrating Audrey in a private service.
