The world lost a legend in our eyes. Ann M. Stacy, 72, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly from health complications, Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at a local hospital. Born July 24th, 1953, she is the daughter of the late Robert "Tiger" Haglund and Gretchen (Ahlers) John.
She worked at Paul's Carriage Inn at one time and retired from Currative Rehabilitation Center. Ann loved working with the elderly and disabled adults.
Ann was known as "The Cat Lady", ran a resuce in Waupaca for some time.
Anyone who knew Ann was aware she was never afraid to speak her mind yet had the biggest heart.
She was a "cool" mom/Nana yet she loved messing with you. She was known as a foster mom to many of her daughters girl friends and a few boy friends (wink). Best believe, with "ma", there was more kindness and love given than punishments.
She also loved reading, spending time with family and friends.
Ann is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law: Samatha (David) Pommier of Oconto Falls and Tuesday Haglund of Green Bay; three grandchildren Alexis (Mike) Haglund, Austin (Jenna) Pommier, and Lauren Pommier. Four great grandchildren, Anastasia, BrynLeigh, Hayden, and KayleighAnn. She was so excited to know another great granddaughter is arriving in December. Two sisters, Laura Haglund and Lynn Falcon. Nephew Tony Falcon and niece Aryca Wiesen.
Ann is also survived by her Waupaca family and other special friends including Brett.
Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by an infant sister, Nancy Jean.
Ann's family wants to thank everyone who has visited and helped her out in any way.
The family would like to extend a special thank you the the staff of Bellin/Emplify hospital ER and ICU for all their care and concern.
