Thomas (Tom) E. Dobesh

Thomas (Tom) E. Dobesh, 85, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was born October 9, 1936, to Walter H. and Emily D. (Anderle) Dobesh in Bellevue, WI.
Tom attended Salvatorian Seminary and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School Class of ’54. He attended UW Madison, St. Nobert College, UW Oshkosh, and UW Green Bay. He owned and operated Dobesh Realty and Design Build Joint Venture Partners. He spent 27 years with Nancy Asplund. Nancy preceded him in death February 2022.
He is survived by his four children: son Todd A Dobesh (Mpls); daughter Stefanie L (Bart) Schultz (Wittenberg); son Bradford T (Audra) Dobesh (Mpls); daughter Nicole A Dobesh (Green Bay). Six grandchildren; Phillip, Jacob (Nicole), Cassie (Eric), Colin, Benjamin, and Isabella. One brother, Jim (Carol) Dobesh; nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Walter and Emily Dobesh and girlfriend, Nancy Asplund. The family will be doing a celebration of life at later date.
Our Dad had a wonderful sense of humor. He took us many places and did many things that many have never seen or done. His love for sports, music, his heritage, and dancing was a part of his soul which he shared with all who would listen. He was truly a unique Dad/individual. May he rest in Peace.
In lieu of flowers, Tom’s family asks that you consider a donation to his memorial or your favorite charity in his name.
