Sidney Ball-Thompson

Sidney L. Ball-Thompson passed away October 3rd, 2019. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, August 6, 1931, to Stuart and Thelma Dalgleish. Sidney was a loving and devoted mother and is survived by her children David (Donna) Ball, Pulaski, WI; Mary (Kirt) Isaacson, Algoma, WI; and Yvonne Brooks, Green Bay, WI. She was blessed with and survived by her nine grandchildren; Stephanie (Kevin) Nuthals, Frances (Scott) Meek, Bernadette (Dan) Stainbrook, Ben Ball, Sarah (Mike) Keiler, Elise Caldwell, Barbara (Dwayne) Skidmore, Cassidy (Adam) Deeter and Danielle (Carey) Leemon. Those grandchildren gave her the joy of 14 great grandchildren; Brittney Nuthals, Cooper Nuthals, Ryan Meek, Karen Stainbrook, Caitlyn Stainbrook, Adrian Keiler, Michael Keiler, Gabriel Keiler, Lucas Keiler, Gavin Caldwell, Jasmine Skidmore, Chael Deeter, Cambria Deeter and Roux Leemon.

Sidney retired as Risk Manager for the City of Green Bay in January 1997.
In Sidney’s senior high school yearbook alongside her picture it reads “She goes about with a smiling face, while she helps her friends along life’s race.” That’s such an accurate description of her!

She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Fort Howard Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 18, 2019. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:30 pm.
