Melanie LaFave, 62, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was born July 16, 1957 in Escanaba, MI, daughter to the late Joseph Novak and Anna (Karl) Poquette.
Melanie was a hardworking mother; making sure her family had everything they needed. She was a sweet, kind lady.
She loved painting ceramics, and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include her 4 children: Brian (Ashley) Monfils, Green Bay; Todd (Jessica) LaFave, Greenleaf; Christine LaFave, Crivitz; and Rebecca (Thomas) Jones, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren: Lucy, Lola, Isaac, Hailey, Mylee, Nakaiya, Corey, Drea, Zoey, and Maya; 12 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma.
A celebration of Melanie’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced when details are finalized.
