Gabriel S. Tate

August 7, 1971 — March 28, 2022

Gabriel S. Tate passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2022, at the age of 50, in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Gabe was a dedicated father and loyal friend, who will be missed by all in his life. The world will remain changed by the loss of his presence.

Gabe was always characterized by his big personality and his ability to make those around him laugh. He made friends everywhere he went. He often went out of his way to help his good friends in any way possible. Gabe was a lover of motorcycles, his dogs, Sasha and Murphy, and really good pizza. He was a dedicated and proud father of his daughter Mikayla.

Gabe was extremely passionate about his Icelandic heritage. One of the most influential people in Gabe’s life was his late grandmother, Sigridur Finnsdottir Tate. To honor his wishes, his daughter Mikayla will be spreading his ashes near the family farm in Iceland where his grandmother grew up.

Gabe Tate is survived by his loving daughter, Mikayla Ness, his beloved dogs, Sasha and Murphy, his siblings, Rob Tate, Ben Carter, and Mary Carter, his parents, Dale-Harriet Rogovich and Thomas Tate, and dozens of friends.

A memorial ride will take place this summer to celebrate his life and give him one final ride on his prized Vmax. Please bring your favorite motorcycle, vehicle, or anything Gabe would have thought was cool. For more details on the event, please contact Mikayla Ness.

In remembrance of Gabe Tate, the family asks that donations be made to his memorial fund and his final journey to Iceland via a GoFundMe account created by his daughter, Mikayla Ness, or to reach out to her directly at mikayla134@gmail.com .

Until Valhalla, Gabe
