Fredrick "The Fredder" Kerry

January 16, 1948 — March 2, 2018

Fredrick John Kerry, “Fred”, “The Fredder”, was born in Indiana on January 16, 1948. Heaven gained another Angel on the afternoon of March 2, 2018, while his family was at his side. Fred served in Vietnam from Jan. 27, 1965 until Oct. 31, 1967, after being honorably discharged from the US Army. He married Debra A. Besaw Hansen on September 17, 1994. Fred had worked at both Nicolet Paper De Pere and Larsen Canning before becoming a Matco Tool Distributor for 15 years, retiring in 2010. Fred and Debbie enjoyed attending car shows together and vacationing in Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, Tennessee, and Las Vegas. Fred relished his time gambling at Oneida Casino and in Vegas.

Fred is survived by his wife, Debbie; son Mitch (Sheila) Kerry); step-sons, Todd Hansen and Paul Hansen; grandchildren, Brett Hansen, Cori (Matt) Wickasberg, MacKenzie Gumz, Taylor Gumz, and Jacob Gumz; and many other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruth (Nast) Kerry; brother, Richard Kerry; grandson, David Lee Hansen; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Elizabeth Amenson.

Fred’s family extends a special thank you to the staff of ManorCare East and Unity Hospice.

A celebration of life will take place at Debbie's residence, Saturday, July 14th, from 1pm-5pm. Full Military Honors to take place at 3pm.
