Diane Hamil

Diane L. (Giese) Hamil, 67, went to heaven peacefully on Tuesday morning, July 30, 2019, in Green Bay, WI. Diane was born at Fort Benning, Georgia on May 13, 1952 to the late Robert J. and Donna R. (Jahn) Giese (Her father served in the army and was stationed at Fort Benning at that time). Diane graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 1970 where she was active in many artistic activities and won numerous awards. She was born with an exceptional talent in art. She was employed as a commercial artist for Television Channel 5 and Shopko, Inc. before moving to Illinois. While raising her son, Adam, she attended Rockford College in Rockford, IL, and graduated cum laude in 1983 with a degree in Fine Arts. She also obtained further education to obtain certification to become a teacher. While in Illinois, she worked for TSR, Inc. as a commercial artist and produced hundreds of drawings and paintings as a free-lance artist.
