He was employed by WH Transportation as an OTR driver for many years. David loved many wonderful hobbies that included fly fishing, woodworking, and hunting. He always had a love of motorcycles and was finally able to enjoy his retirement riding his first Harley Davidson motorcycle. David was an ABATE member and found many new sisters and brothers through his beloved biker family.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the VA hospitals in Wisconsin and Florida, as well as the team at Appleton Medical Center for dedication to his treatments of various health issues. He spoke highly about how great he was being cared for by everyone involved. A “Celebration of Life” with a military salute in honor of David will be held at a later date in 2021.
