Anne W Hensley, 91, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at The Bridges nursing home in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Born on March 12, 1926 in Manchester, Kentucky, she is the daughter of the late Roy and Jeanette (Haney) White.
She leaves her four children; Rebecca Lynn Hensley of Hammond, Louisina, Dorothy Gayle Grier of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Jeffrey Marshall Hensley of Palm Springs, California, Richard Douglas Hensley of Rockford, Illinois, and one brother; Hugh L White of Corpus Christi, and nine grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 53 years, Lee Roy Hensley; one daughter, Sharon Lee Hensley; and one grandson, Eli James Conley.
Anne was active in her church wherever she lived; spreading her faith by singing in “The Grace Notes” and teaching and speaking at women’s groups all over the country.
She will be greatly missed by her family, her many friends, and the hundreds she mentored in her faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested gifts toward the expenses of the memorial service to be held next spring.
