Paul Gene Fortemps

Paul Gene Fortemps, 61, Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully at his home January 14, 2018 surround by his loved ones. He fought a long & hard 5 year battle against Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. Paul was born September 29, 1956 in Sturgeon Bay. He is the son of late the Allen & Virgina (Betts) Fortemps, twin to Polly Fortemps Soukup.
Paul had a passion for hunting, fishing and was an avid gun collector. He was an accomplished artist; loving to paint beautiful pictures & a wonderful photographer. He loved having his 6 grandchildren around & enjoyed their many visits with him. He also enjoyed spending his time with his 7 nephews teaching the hunting & fishing techniques as well as the art of survival.
He is survived by his loving family; partner Jean Destree, daughter Jennifer (Michael) Clark and son Travis (Natassia) Fortemps; 1 brother, Allen Fortemps, Algoma, Twin sister Polly Soukup (Rick) , Sturgeon Bay, Ginger (Michael) Woolums, Green Bay.
Also surviving are 6 Grandchildren, Jenna Delchambre, Melody Delchambre, Isabella Riesen , Maya Clark, Charles Fortemps and Lily Fortemps.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, any donation may be made to the National Rifle Associate.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and gratitude to the Prevea doctors and the Hospice of Sturgeon Bay.
