Lyle "Chico" Albert Fietzer

Lyle “Chico” Albert Fietzer, 62, New London, died peacefully at his home on January 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 11, 1955, in New London, he is the son of the late Lester and Irene (Roland) Fietzer. On June 14, 1991, he married the former Sherry Retzlaff in Symco, Wisconsin. Lyle enjoyed dancing, fishing and hunting. He had a passion for training and working with horses.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; eight children, Tony (Deb) Fietzer, Howard, Tara (Dan) Nabbefeld, Shiocton, Becky (Mike) Schewe, New London, Andy (Jessica) Fietzer, Fremont, Katie (Joe) Conradt, Marion, Dan (Tanya) Christian, New London, Stacy Christian, New London, Craig (Katie) Christian, New London; 21 grandchildren; two brothers, Lou Fietzer, Weyauwega, and Leo Fietzer, Manawa; three sisters, Lynn (Orin) Zirbel, Manawa, Lana (Jerry) Simonis, Manawa, Lois (Steve) Cunningham, New London; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Larry Fietzer; and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at Bean City Ballroom, N2505 Bean City Rd, New London, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at Northport Ostrander Cemetery in New London. Simply Cremation assisted the family with cremation services, (920) 431-0100.
