Carol (Thyes) Stevens, 74, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2018. She was born August 10, 1943 in Green Bay to the late Clarence and Marion Thyes.
Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, trips to the casino and road trips in her younger years. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, caring nature, sense of humor and spunky personality.
She is survived by her son, Eric Stevens; grandchildren, Crystal DeCleene, Joseph Antone, Nicholas Stevens, Brittney Stevens; great-grandson, Giovanni Stevens; sister, Janet King; brothers Don (Elaine) Thyes, Tom (Janice) Thyes, Gary (Sandy) Thyes; sister-in-law, Sharon Thyes; daughter-in-law, Karmella Stevens; special friend, James Zeutzius; many additional family members, friends and her beloved cat.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Ernie Stevens, Jr., brother David Thyes, a niece and several nephews.
To honor Carol’s wishes, no funeral services will be held following cremation. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank The Cancer Team at Bellin Health and Dr. Tahsildar for their excellent care of Carol over the past seven years, as well as Unity Hospice for their support in her final days.
