Betty Jean Quist (Mettler) passed away on Friday January 12th, 2018. She was born on May 9th, 1937, in Two Rivers, WI.
She is survived by her husband Ivan (also affectionately known as Chris to her). They were married November 17, 1956, and their marriage was an example of love and commitment not often seen in this day and age as they were married over sixty years.
She is further survived by her children: Kelly (Joe) Palmer; Kim Quist; Mike (Tami) Quist; Tracie (Tim) Moldenhauer and her grandchildren: Jason (Megan Jennings Quist) Quist; Kayla Palmer; Katie Palmer; Krista Palmer; Tyler Quist (fiancée Rachael Wright); Justin Quist; Matthew Moldenhauer and Nathan Moldenhauer. Betty is also survived by her sister, Sue (Neal Gauthier) and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; Winifred and Claude Mettler; mother-in-law, Violet Quist; father-in-law, Arley Quist; sister-in-law, Arlene and brother-in-law, Ronald.
Visitation at Resurrection Catholic Church 333 Hilltop Ln, Friday January 19, from 11 AM to 12 PM (Noon). Funeral Mass at 12 PM (Noon) with Rev. Timothy Shillcox O. Praem officiating.
We would like to thank Dr. Amy James and the staff of Unity Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
Betty's family suggests memorial contributions to be sent to Unity Hospice - De Pere.
