Entered Heaven on February 19, 2018.
Born on Earth to Earl and Helen Lohman at Waukegan Hospital, although his first home was in Lake Zurich, IL.

Al grew up just outside of Neshkoro. Attended High School in Westfield as a Pioneer. Also attended Naperville College.

His love was “speaking” and “theatre”. He announced the Pioneer football game, was in school plays. He took that love to be part of the theatre at Naperville College where he worked lights.

After college he worked on the railroad, travel the southern states as a salesman. He returned to Wisconsin in the early 70’s and found employment with Berlin Foundry. In July of 1977 he met Deb in her driveway when she was leaving his friends house. He followed her, to her softball games and she finally said she’d go out with him. On April 8th, 1978 they married at Berlin United Methodist Church in Berlin.

Both daughters Catherine (Cathi), Appleton, and Bethany (Beth) Braswell (Kevin), Phoenix, AZ were born in Berlin where they resided until 1989 when they moved to Galva, Il to work at Galva Foundry in Quality Control. In 1990 Al found employment at Ironton Iron, Ironton OH in Quality Control, but they resided in Flatwoods Ky where they resided until 2000. They returned to Wisconsin where he worked at Badger Mining. In 2005 they moved to Green Bay and in 2007 to DePere where he worked at Loomis Armored and recently as a part time parking attendant at Austin Straubel.

Al is survived by his wife Deb, Daughters Cathi and Beth. Granddaughters Jazlyn (Jazz), Chrystalyn (CJ), Grandson Aiden, Step grandson Jay. Sisters: Peggy (James) Greer of Princeton, Penny (Arthur) Corbin, Omro. Sister In Laws: Sandy (Ernie) Perron of Avondale, AZ, Lori (Butler) Edwards of Maricopa, AZ, Sheri (Pat) Chappa, Berlin. Wife’s Parents: Ken & Phyllis Ottman, Nephews and nieces: David Lohman Jr. Jeff Laura) Lohman, Roger (Amber) Greer, Randy Greer, Michelle (Derek), Julie (Scott) Blader, Mike (Stephanie) Corbin, Matt Corbin, Christopher (Lisa) Firnges, Shateka (Larry) White, Jacob Firnges, Megan (Craig) Eckstein, Melissa (Jaysen) Chappa, Step Nieces and Nephews: Dehanna Elethorp, Eric (Jessica) Perron, Gayla (John) Lathrop. Many Grand Nieces and Nephews.

His parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and brother David Lohman, wife’s Uncle Harold Edminster, cousin Paul Edminster, good friend Rex Weinbender, greeted him as he entered heaven.

Please join us for an informal gathering on Saturday, March 3rd, 1pm-4pm, Charleston Pointe Apartments (recreational room), 1975 Ridgeway Drive, De Pere, WI. Come as you are.

Most will be joining him for Packers and Brewers games, cooking Brats, and drinking Beer.
